What the link contains
VietQR Help places the form values in the part of the URL after the # character. Browsers normally do not send that fragment in the HTTP request for the page, but the full URL remains visible to anyone who receives or can access it. The recipient's browser reads the fragment and fills the form again.
The information can include a bank code, account number, account name, amount, transfer note and shop name. Treat the link as if it contains those details in readable form. Anyone who has the link may be able to inspect them.
Share it carefully
- Create the transfer QR with the correct Vietnamese bank and account details.
- Use the PayLink copy action and send it only to the intended person or channel.
- Open the link yourself before sharing, then compare the bank, account number and optional fields with the QR preview.
Do not put passwords, one-time codes, banking logins or other secrets into the form. A PayLink does not encrypt its values or restrict who can read them.
What happens when someone opens it
The page restores the encoded fields in the browser and creates a QR image using the transfer image service. If a person edits the form before the PayLink is applied, the page does not overwrite those changes. The QR only carries payment details; it does not send money, verify the account owner or report whether a transfer succeeded.
Before paying, the recipient should check the name and account shown in their banking app. The person receiving the money should confirm it in their own bank account.
